Hello 👋 Chris here!
Climbing has been a lifelong passion. I first started climbing on Yorkshire Gritstone when I was a kid.
Despite it always being cold and wet, I loved it. I spent every day I could climbing. When I was not climbing, I was thinking about climbing.
Having spent most of my life climbing and loving virtually every moment (wet weekends in the Lake District maybe less so), I discovered another passion, to share my love of climbing with others.
I started FREEKLIME to make bouldering as accessible, fun and sociable as possible. Built by Walltopia, FREEKLIME is a world-class bouldering facility that offers engaging and enjoyable climbing in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.
